details. When tasked with increasing political activism, one must acknowledge the economic factors of politics. This School of Visual Arts, Products of Design winning submission, titled REV., is in direct relation to the politics of space and the economics regarding how we occupy it. REV. is an application designed to enable the common resident to engage in and take charge of the processes of urban and economic development, through collective action. Interpersonal relationships are built with local businesses who allocate a percentage of the per product(service) profits for each purchase that our members make. That percentage is then allocated to an equity investment account, belonging to our members, to help gain ownership and stewardship over community spaces. 

 

The design of this application helped to inform a creative set of handouts that were not submitted with the original submission. Instead, these flyers were simply developed for personal use.
